WANTED: Musicians

Drummer and Electric Guitarist needed to play popular Christian music at Memorial's Imagine! service under direction of Scott Hatfield, Music Director..

SOUND SYSTEM ENGINEER

Duties: Setup of microphones about 45 minutes before the service. Operate Sound system during services and other events.

Qualifications: Some experience running sound for theater, radio or TV stations very helpful, but if none, we will train.

Pay: This is a volunteer position. Rewards are learning and honing skills that could be useful for future paying jobs. Much appreciation from everyone, and a chance to do something  for God.

Training is available before and during the Imagine rehearsals (Thursdays at about 6 pm.)

VIDEO SYSTEM OPERATOR:

Duties: Operate video presentations during services using Sunday Plus. Arrive 45 minutes before the service to review the presentation.

Qualifications: Good basic Windows computer skills. Some knowledge of Power Point. Ability to perform tasks quickly with few errors. Ability to listen closely to what is happening during the service.  Having experience in a TV production environment or theater would be very helpful, but not necessary. We will train.

Pay: This is a volunteer position. Rewards are honing skills that could be later used in TV production, theater, or other jobs.  Much appreciation from everyone and a chance to do something for God.

MULTIMEDIA PROJECT

Memorial still has need for improvements on the Sound system and Video System

AV SYSTEM FOR SOCIAL HALL
This would include a permanently mounted video projector, permanently mounted speakers, a AV control boot with all equipment permanently installed. And the entire system engineered for the Social Hall acoustics. Cost: about $20,000
D FOR SOUND:

An additional hand held wireless microphone. Cost about $350.

NEEDED FOR VIDEO:

Two LCD monitors for the choir. Cost at about $1500. The current, old CRT monitor forces us to run the entire system at a reduced resolution. With new LCD monitors and cable to them, we can increase the resolution on the main screens

A portable video projector is needed for use in the Social Hall and for meetings.



Items Needed:

PORTABLE LCD PROJECTOR
To be used for computer or video presentations in the Social Hall, meeting rooms and Sunday School.

PROJECTION SCREEN
To be used with LCD computer and video projection for small groups.
