Congregational Care
Care Clusters
The Shepherds keep alert for unmet needs of the congregation. You may help. If you know of anyone ill, hospitalized, unable to come to church or if you notice someone absent for a while. re[port it to the Care Clusters. With hospital stays vastly shortened from the past, advance notice is especially helpful. Be sure to sign the red registration book every Sunday. This is a way for the church to tell if you are absent possibly due to a problem.
Prayer Chain
The prayer chain offers prayers for anyone in need. Those needs are promptly communicated via phone and emailed to the group members who pray for those in need. The more members of this group, the more powerful is the effect. Contact the church office if you would like to participate.
Pastor’s Prayer List
This is a list of church friends especially in need of our prayers and concerns, usually for an extended time. Call Pastor Janette or the church office if you know of anyone in need.
Special Friends
This is our own program for offering caring through visiting, telephoning and cards to members and friends in particular need. We also deliver gifts and cards made by our Sunday School children. We need people to join us. The Special Friends Team meets on the third Wednesday (March 19) at 2:00 in the Lose Library.
Driving Ministry
Those who have difficulty in driving can benefit from our ministry to provide transportation to church and other important places. Drivers are also needed. Contact the church office if you would like to be a part of this ministry.
