YARD SALE!

President’s Day Yard Sale!  Monday, Feb 20 at 9 am at Memorial.  All kinds of things cheap!  Help out by bringing your unused items to the church on Sunday between 8 am and noon and between 5 pm and 8 pm. Proceeds go towards helping the youth group get to our Sierra Service Project mission trip this Summer.

District Event At Memorial

On February 3-4-5, 2012, The Central Valley District will have a learning event at Memorial that will focus on “worship and preaching.”  Sunday’s, Feb 5th services will be designed and conducted by the leaders of this event. (more)

Your District Council on Ministries has designed this event so that you will be able to attend 1, 2, or 3 days of this event.

NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY!

Show up any time after 7 pm. Bring along a game or puzzle & some munchies to share. Hang out with others from your faith family until you are ready to go home! We will be at the church through the countdown at midnight – when we join together for a time of prayer and praise. After a quick clean up we head home for a few hours sleep before Sunday morning worship on New Year’s Day at either 9:30 or 11 a.m.

Combined Services – Dec 18 & 25

Memorial will have ONE Combined service on December 18th and 25th at 10:30 am instead of the usual 9:30 and 11 am services.


Christmas Eve services: Saturday, Dec 24 at 7 pm and 10:30 pm.

11/20/2011 Service

CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION PARTY NOVEMBER 27TH!

This Sunday at 6pm, everyone is invited to help the PTO and youth groups decorating the sanctuary and tree for Christmas. If you enjoy decorating for Christmas, please come and join us! There will be snacks and beverages to share. See you there!

are so excited & proud of the beautiful things we have made this year.

We are pleased to have welcomed new members to our group & will have many wonderful items for you to see & available for you to purchase.

I know you won’t want to miss lunch.

Stan &  Guin Jenanyan have agreed to cook our Boutique Lunchens & they are planning something very special for us. So bring a friend or nieghbor & join the fun!

New Sunday School Class

“When Christians Get it Wrong”‘, a book by Adam Hamilton at 11 am.  Class is being led by Andy Hansen-Smith at 11 am Sunday.

Fall Festival & Carnival!

Fun at Memorial UMC on Saturday, October 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. complete with games, food and hand-crafted items.

Booths will offer jewelry, hair pretties, baby blankets, candles, potted plants, a silent auction and much more. At one booth, fair trade coffee, chocolate, crafts and jewelry sales will help provide third world entrepreneurs a living wage. Enjoy popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs and beverages throughout the day.

Carnival games, a bounce house and a cake walk will be fun for children and adults.

This spooktacular event will be followed by an elegant tri-tip dinner by Chef Matthew, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Tickets are $25 each. There will be opportunities to win tickets to the event during the carnival.

This is a community wide event. Everyone welcome.

Proceeds received by the church will go toward the worldwide ministries of the Methodist Church.
