<\/a>Memorial<\/abbr> UMC<\/abbr> helps support the Industrial Areas Foundation<\/a> (IAF<\/abbr>)<\/span><\/em> through its affiliate, <\/span>United San Joaquin<\/em><\/a> (USJ<\/abbr><\/span>) ,<\/span><\/em> with funding and our members’<\/span> participation.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nOn May 3, 2026, Central Valley AIF<\/em> was chartered as\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>United San Joaquin<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Founded in 1940, the Industrial Areas Foundation<\/em> is the nation’s largest and longest-standing network of local faith and community-based organizations. The IAF<\/abbr><\/strong> partners with religious congregations and civic organizations at the local level to build broad-based organizing projects, which create new capacity in a community for leadership development, citizen-led action and relationships across the lines that often divide our communities.
