\"\"<\/a>As United Methodists, we know that we support an itinerant ministry of pastors, but it is with heavy hearts that we must say good bye to Pastor Vathanak<\/abbr> Heang and his family. Bishop Carca\u00f1o has appointed Pastor Vathanak<\/abbr> Heang to serve Buena Vista UMC<\/abbr> in Alameda CA effective July 1, 2024. Pastor Vathanak<\/abbr> has served Memorial<\/abbr> for 3 years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our June 23rd service will be a special combined service followed by a farewell pot luck luncheon\u00a0 for Pastor Vathanak<\/abbr>. This will be his last Sunday at Memorial<\/abbr>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We welcome Rev. Falamao Samate who will come to us on July 1st from Tehachapi Valley United Methodist\u00a0 Church<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
