FUMUL<\/strong> \u2013 Friends of UM University of Liberia — supports the efforts of the University to become a leading educational institution in western Africa.\u00a0 To this end, we support all the educational schools that are overseen by the Liberia Annual Conference<\/a>, the University, and the health institutions related to the University programs. \u00a0We were blessed to have Dr. Mator Kpangbai<\/a> of United Methodist University in Liberia<\/a> present with us at MUMC<\/abbr> on June 17.\u00a0 He also attended Annual Conference Session in Modesto June 20-23.\u00a0 We were able to have a display table in a good location and talked with many people about our FUMUL project.\u00a0 We have developed an email list with over 50 people who want to keep apprised of our ongoing work.\u00a0 We intend to send our updates quarterly.\u00a0 Additionally, Mator was able to speak at the UM churches in Lemoore and Armona.\u00a0 Both congregations made donations to the work of FUMUL.<\/span><\/p>\n

FUMUL\u00a0 funds will be used to begin to pay back the loan that was accepted to get the computer lab established in Liberia. The computers arrived in Liberia.\u00a0 \u00a0Hopefully we will soon be able to report that the computer lab is being set up<\/span>!<\/span><\/p>\n
