Hmong United Methodist Church Charters on Sat, May 30

Earlier this year, the Hmong Language Ministry at Memorial decided to charter as an independent United Methodist Church.

Bishop Sandra Olewine will preside over the chartering charge conference for Hmong UMC on Saturday, May 30 at 9:30am at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Fresno.

Everyone at Memorial UMC of Clovis is invited to the chartering at 9;30 am , the Celebratory Worship Service at 11am and the potluck lunch to follow.  

The Hmong UMC will establish their home at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, starting on July 1, 2026.

St. Paul’s is located at 2435 North Thesta, Fresno, CA  93703 (north of Clinton, west of Fresno Street).
