Palm Sunday at Memorial:
March 29. Memorial English language service at 10 am. Hmong service at 11:15 am. Bring the kids early for the palm processional. Palm Sunday commemorates the entrance of Christ into Jerusalem, during which palm branches were placed in his path, before his arrest on Holy Thursday.
Maundy Thursday at Memorial
Worship Service at 7pm at Memorial.
Maundy Thursday, also known as “Holy Thursday,” is the Thursday of Passion Week, one day before Good Friday (the Friday before Easter). Maundy Thursday is the name given to the day on which Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples. It was also the day of His betrayal and arrest. Maundy Thursday commemorates the actions of Jesus associated with the Last Supper.
Good Friday at Grace UMC:
On Friday, 7 pm, April 14, commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus at at Grace United Methodist Church, 3362 E Balch Ave. Fresno, CA.
(A Fresno District service. There will be no service at Memorial.)
Easter at Memorial:
April 5
Easter English language service at 10 am,
Easter Hmong language service at 11:15 am.
At about 9:50 am, enjoy singing some Easter hymns before the service.
