Wear RED Sunday June 8th
June 1st is Pentecost Sunday. Red symbolizes the fire of the Holy Spirit, which descended upon the apostles and disciples in the form of tongues of fire. This fire represents the Holy Spirit’s power, zeal, and the birth of the Church. The holiday is celebrated on the seventh Sunday after Easter which is also fifty days after Easter, hence the name.
